About the Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing our DataOps platform. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be solving complex challenges and driving innovation in how data operations are managed. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, helping to bring new features to life while ensuring the performance and scalability of our platform.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable code for Matia’s DataOps platform.
- Lead the development of core features and services, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing and Sales teams to translate product requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices, while providing technical leadership across projects.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to ensure our systems are adaptable to evolving business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments.
What We’re Looking For
- Vast hands-on experience in software development, with proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Proven experience in designing and building SaaS platforms or working within complex data-driven systems.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and database design, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for solving challenging technical problems in fast-paced environments.
- A team player with excellent communication skills who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with DataOps, big data, or related technologies is a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ramat Gan (walking distance from both train stations).
